Our CAN-enabled Ethanol Conversion Analyzer takes up just a small amount of real estate at just 1.8 inches x 2.6 inches. Unlike the competition, it is completely sealed for weather resistance and is terminated to a single DTM 8 Pin female receptacle connector for you to interface with. This means you are free to put the ECA not just inside your vehicle’s cabin but also in your engine bay. The ECA requires 12V power and ground and can supply your flex fuel composition sensor with 12V power and ground.
Each ECA is supplied with a universal harness. Each universal harness is configured with a sleeved 6 foot run to connect to a flex fuel sensor and an unsleeved 2 foot run of wires that can be trimmed for your application for your switched 12V power, chassis ground, CAN Hi, and CAN Lo.

ATTENTION TUNERS:
Our CAN bus box outputs a CAN signal with the following specs:
CAN Bus ID Standard (11 bit)
CAN Bus ID (HEX) 0x00EC
CAN Bus Update Rate 250 ms (4 Hz)
CAN Bus Speed 500 Kbps or 1 Mbps (configured at checkout)
CAN DATA:
Data 0: E % = 8 bit
Data 1: Fuel Temperature (C) = 8 bit – 40
Data 7: FF Sensor Status
0x00 Sensor OK
0x01 Sensor fault
Default values for ethanol on sensor failure: 100% (CAN Data0: 100)
Default values for temperature on sensor failure: -40C (CAN Data1: 0)
Not all wiring is created equally. We use TXL wire featuring XLPE insulation that is heat, flame, gasoline, grease, and acid resistant and is used in extreme temperature applications of -40°F to 257°F!
