Total Racing Products OEM Oil Pressure Sensor Adapter Harness For Use With TRP ECA PLUS & TRP Mission Control – Nissan 370Z/Infiniti G37

The Total Racing Products OEM Oil Pressure Sensor Adapter Harness allows VQ37 engines to be upgraded from the factory oil pressure “dummy” switch that comes with a VQ37-equipped car to a true OEM oil pressure sensor, enabling real-time oil pressure data and advanced safety logic through the TRP ecosystem.

This adapter harness connects directly to an OEM  3-pin oil pressure sensor found on R35 GTRs and interfaces seamlessly with a TRP Universal Sensor Harness. The OEM sensor threads directly into the factory VQ37 oil pressure switch location, retaining proper BSPT thread compatibility and OEM-level fitment.

By utilizing the factory Nissan oil pressure sensor, this solution provides a compact, reliable, and leak-free installation where aftermarket sensors are often oversized or incompatible with the BSPT port.

Mission Control Integration (Required for Oil Light Functionality):

When paired with the TRP Mission Control, the factory oil warning light is transformed from a basic on/off indicator into a programmable smart warning system. This allows tuner-defined logic to trigger the light before oil pressure reaches catastrophic levels. Simply use an output on the Mission Control and wire it to the factory light wiring directly. The OEM light is not controllable by the ECU; you must wire the Mission Control output directly to the factory switch to turn this light on.

The smart oil light can be configured to activate for:

• Low or high oil pressure conditions

• Oil starvation events

• Turbo oil feed or return line failures

• Oil cooler or oil system failures
