At the heart of our system are AEM IGN1A Smart Coils, known for their unparalleled spark output and superior reliability compared to traditional CDI systems. Whether you're pushing your GTR to its limits on the drag strip or enjoying spirited street driving, these coils provide the performance and flexibility you need, without the risk of overheating common with CDI setups.
Our ignition system is designed to work seamlessly with NGK race spark plugs for optimal performance. Please note that the kit does not include spark plugs. Should you ever need to order replacement spark plugs, spark plug wires, or replacement fuses, you can easily find them under the Nissan GTR Engine section of the TRP website. We provide the components you need to keep your ignition system running at peak performance.
This ignition kit is designed to integrate with standalone engine management systems (ECUs) such as Motec or Syvecs, ensuring maximum control and performance for high-horsepower builds. Depending on the type of hood or other supporting modifications present in your setup, some modifications, clearancing, or relocation may be required to achieve optimal fitment. We recommend reviewing your current build specifications to ensure seamless installation with minimal adjustments.
