The Total Racing Products Plug and Play Fuel Pressure Kit for EcuTek provides R35 GTR owners and tuners with a clean, reliable solution for adding fuel pressure monitoring directly into the factory ECU.

Fuel pressure is one of the most important parameters to monitor on a modified R35 GTR, especially as power levels and fuel system demands increase. Being able to monitor actual fuel pressure allows your tuner to identify fuel system issues that may otherwise go unnoticed and gives them the information necessary to incorporate fuel pressure into logging, custom maps, warnings, or engine protection strategies when supported by the calibration.

Our kit is designed to eliminate the need to build a custom harness or splice into the factory wiring. Simply select the appropriate fuel rail type and EcuTek input configuration for your vehicle.

Input Options

MAF Bank 2

This configuration is intended for vehicles where the Bank 2 MAF input is available to be repurposed for fuel pressure monitoring.

Speed Density Harness + MAF Bank 1

This configuration provides the necessary hardware to convert the vehicle for the appropriate Speed Density configuration while utilizing the MAF Bank 1 input for fuel pressure monitoring.

If you purchase a kit with the “Speed Density Harness + MAF Bank 1” Input Type, the kit will include a Speed Density sensor as well.

TRP 150 PSIg Pressure Sensor

The kit can be purchased with or without our TRP 150 PSIg Pressure Sensor, allowing customers who already have a compatible sensor to purchase only the necessary adapter and wiring.

Pressure Sensor Installation

When installing the pressure sensor into the supplied billet adapter, the threaded connection should be properly sealed using a high quality PTFE thread seal tape.

At TRP, we use JACO ThreadPro High Density PTFE Thread Seal Tape. Other comparable, high quality PTFE thread seal tapes may also be used.

Apply the PTFE tape correctly to the pressure sensor threads before threading the sensor into the billet adapter. Care should be taken during installation to avoid contamination of the fuel system and to ensure a proper leak free seal.

Harness Construction

Not all wiring is created equally. We use TXL wire featuring XLPE insulation that is heat, flame, gasoline, grease, and acid resistant and is used in extreme temperature applications of -40°F to 257°F!

This kit was developed to provide a clean, professional, plug and play solution for adding one of the most valuable monitoring channels available on a modified R35 GTR.

Important

Custom EcuTek calibration is required for the ECU to properly interpret the pressure sensor signal. Sensor scaling and the configuration of any warnings, failsafes, or engine protection strategies should be performed by a qualified tuner.
