The Total Racing Products Aluminum DIY Intercooler End Tank Set gives builders everything they need to fabricate custom air to water intercoolers using Garrett’s 1000HP cores, Garrett P/N 734408-6005, inside Gen 2 Audi R8 or Lamborghini Huracan engine bays. Each set includes all four CNC cut end tanks required to complete one intercooler: an air inlet tank with a 2.5 inch opening, an air outlet tank with a 3.5 inch opening, two water side tanks with precision cut openings sized for -12 AN ORB fittings, and four -12 AN ORB female weld bungs. Intercooler cores are not included.

The water tank ports are strategically offset so coolant can enter one side of the core, fully saturate the water passages, and exit from the opposite side for the most efficient heat transfer. Built from .187 inch thick aluminum, these tanks weld cleanly and deliver the strength and rigidity required for high boost and high temperature environments.

This kit is designed around Garrett’s 11.9 inch by 4.8 inch by 4.8 inch 1000HP air to water cores. While tested only with this specific part number, the tank set will likely work with other similarly sized air to water cores from different manufacturers depending on exact dimensions and tube layout.
