TRP’s Direct-Fit NSX Ice Tank is the best tank for any NSX build with an air to water intercooler. Our tank is fabricated to support the utilization of the universally adored Pierburg CWA400 water pump that offers high flow with OEM reliability.
Utilizing a 3D scanner and CAD software, we engineered a product with both volume and best use of space in mind. This was our goal so that owners would still have access to key areas in their trunk and have the ability to run lines under their carpet to utilize factory drains as convenient bulkhead locations. Our tank's bracket system utilizes factory holes for mounting; the installer only needs to add rivet nuts in order to prepare the vehicle. TRP’s water/ice tank offers superior cooling performance, space optimization, weight distribution benefits, and enhanced durability compared to any other solution out there we have seen for the NSX platform.
Our tanks feature massive 16AN outlet and return ports and a 3/8 inch NPT port intended to be used as a drain so the owner can drain water and add ice if desired. Each ice tank kit comes standard with a billet aluminum lid and pump hoses/accessories. Tanks come standard with a textured black powder coated finish.
The Pierburg CWA400 water pump is sold separately and does not require modifications to be made to it in order to function with this kit. TRP does stock these pumps and they can be found in the Universal Electronics category of our web store.
On average, these water tanks carry a 1-2 week lead time.
