The Total Racing Products Brake Pad Wear Sensor Emulator Kit provides a simple, plug and play solution for C8 Corvette owners who are no longer using the factory brake pad wear sensors.

When converting from factory carbon ceramic brakes to iron rotors, installing an aftermarket big brake kit, or running brake pads that do not support the factory wear sensors, the vehicle can display unwanted brake pad service warnings. The TRP Brake Pad Wear Sensor Emulator kit plugs directly into the factory brake pad wear sensor connectors and allows the vehicle to operate without the original wear sensors connected.

No cutting, splicing, programming, or permanent modifications are required. Simply disconnect the factory brake pad wear sensors, install the TRP emulators into the corresponding factory connectors, and secure them neatly using the included zip ties.

This is an ideal solution for street, performance, and track oriented C8 Corvettes using aftermarket brake components where the factory brake pad wear monitoring system is no longer required.

Installation

Installation requires no special tools or vehicle programming. Each emulator plugs directly into the corresponding factory brake pad wear sensor connector. The included zip ties can be used to secure each emulator and keep the installation clean and away from moving or hot components.

Once installed, the factory brake pad wear monitoring function is bypassed. Brake pad condition must then be checked manually as part of normal vehicle maintenance.

Important

This product disables the factory brake pad wear monitoring function. The vehicle will no longer be able to notify the driver when brake pads have reached the factory wear sensor threshold. Brake pad thickness should be inspected regularly, particularly on vehicles used for performance driving or track use.
